Description

This is a mid-16th century timber-frame barn located to the north of the Manor House in Little Comberton. The barn features square panelled walls with brick infilling, and the upper panels are covered with weatherboarding. The gable ends are decorated with brickwork. It is a five-bay structure, measuring 80 feet long and 22 feet wide. The roof has two purlins on each slope, with the lower purlins supported by wind braces. Some knee braces that tie the beavers are missing.
