Description

This is a house, dated 1627, with some 18th-century additions and mid-20th century alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a tile roof and follows an L-shaped plan, with a short wing extending to the east and a main range to the north. The north wing has a gable-end stack to the cross-wing and a stack at the junction. The east front has two storeys and an attic, with a gabled dormer and a casement window in the short cross wing. The main range has three windows: a three-light stone mullioned window to the left, and two three-light casement windows to the right. A stone canopy supported by stone consoles shelters the entrance, which is located between the two left-hand windows. The entrance features a wooden architrave and a 20th-century half-glazed door. The west front displays a small shield inscribed with the date "1627 MB."
