Description

Forge House is a 17th-century house situated on the south side of School Street, Cow Honeybourne. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar quoins, and incorporates timber-framed sections with rendered infill. It has a machine tile roof and gable-end stacks. The house has two storeys. The first floor has two two-light casement windows. The ground floor features a sixteen-pane sash window to the left and a canted oriel window with a tile roof to the right. A glazed door is centrally positioned. The timber framing is visible only on the first floor, consisting of two square panels in height. The property has undergone alterations in the mid-19th century and late 20th century.
