Description
The Nave and the Chancel of the Old Church, now converted into two houses, is a parish church with a 15th-century tower. The rest of the building was rebuilt between 1861 and 1863 by W J Hopkins. It features coursed rubble and ashlar stonework, topped with a machine tile roof. The structure includes a west tower, nave, and chancel.
The west tower has four stages, with stepped angle buttresses, crenellated parapets adorned with corner pinnacles, and gargoyles beneath. The belfry openings consist of two trefoiled lights set under a square head with a label. The nave is a single storey with an attic, illuminated by three 20th-century gabled dormers. The nave has three bays, with a gabled stone porch on the right. The central bay contains a window with two trefoiled lights, while the left-hand bay features a window with three cinquefoiled lights, both set under a 2-centred head with a label. The chancel has a window with three trefoiled lights under a square head.
