Description
This is a group of three headstones located approximately 6 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Eadburgha, dating from around 1700. They are made of limestone. The southern headstone features a shaped top with three segmental arches that contain winged heads, along with an illegible inscription framed by a moulded border. The northern headstone also has a similarly shaped top, but its middle arch is wider and is bordered by incised crosses. It has an illegible inscription within a moulded surround that has a shouldered round head. The eastern headstone is topped with an open segmental pediment that includes a winged head, and it also bears an illegible inscription.
