Description

OVERBURY CP - SO 9437 - 9537 9/100 Whitcombe memorial about 10 yards north of the nave of the Church of St Faith GV II

Sarcophagus tomb. Circa 1833. Ashlar. Rectangular plinth above which the tomb is raised on four stone spheres. Sarcophagus has moulded base and flat capping and reeded corner detail. Commemurates Willa Palmer Whitcombe, died 1833. This tomb is located on an elevated site to the north of the churchyard of the Church of St Faith (qv).
