Description

The Whitcombe Memorial, located about 10 yards north of the nave of the Church of St Faith, is a sarcophagus tomb dating from around 1833. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a rectangular plinth that supports the tomb, which is raised on four stone spheres. The sarcophagus has a moulded base, a flat capping, and reeded details at the corners. It commemorates Willa Palmer Whitcombe, who died in 1833. The memorial is situated on an elevated site within the churchyard of the Church of St Faith.
