Description
The Whitbread tomb, located approximately 40 metres north of the west end of the Church of St Keyne, is a chest tomb dating from 1817. It is constructed from limestone and has a rectangular shape. The tomb features a moulded plinth and fielded panels on its sides, with pointed-arched panels on the corner pilasters. The lid is adorned with a moulded cornice. The inscriptions on the tomb are mostly indecipherable, but it is dedicated to the Whitbread family.
