Description

Pershore Bridge, specifically the north bridge, is a structure that dates back to the late 15th century, with remodels occurring in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed from red and blue brick, primarily using English garden wall bond, along with stone elements. The east face features three segmental gauged brick arches, each with keystones, supported by two stone and brick cutwaters, brick end-piers, a brick and stone plinth, and a brick parapet that includes refuges, topped with cambered stone coping. The west face is made of stone and has a curved stone parapet-approach along with end piers.
