Description

No. 98 High Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with later additions and alterations, including a ground floor shop front added around the 1970s. The building features a painted brick facade and stone sills, topped with a plain tile roof. It stands three storeys tall and has two first-floor windows. The first floor is fitted with 6/1 sash windows, while the second floor has 6/6 sash windows, all set in plain reveals with flat arches made of rubbed brick and stone sills. The ground floor consists of a plate glass shop front and a glazed entrance. The interior has not been inspected. The building shares a single roof with No. 97A.
