Description
Hazeldene is a late 18th-century house constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof and rear wall chimneys. The main facade has three bays and three stories, with modillion eaves. It features glazing bar sash windows. Two two-story curved bays are present, each with moulded wood cornices and flat tops. The upper floor windows are plain two-by-four pane sashes, with a blank window in the centre. The first-floor centre window is round-arched with intersecting tracery. A central round-arched doorway is also adorned with intersecting tracery in the fanlight, incorporating an open pediment doorcase with pilaster strips and panelled reveals. A plain tile two-story rear wing completes the building. Hazeldene shares architectural similarities with Earl’s Croome House and properties in Upton upon Severn, specifically The Rectory and Hiltons.
