Description

Quay Lane Cottage is a 17th to 18th century cottage featuring a timber frame and painted brick construction, with a brick extension to the north. The building has a gable-ended roof covered with plain tiles and includes a small stack on the ridge at the original north end wall. It is two storeys high and has a two-window arrangement of casements on the original part of the cottage, which showcases square framing. There is a brick plinth at the base, and the north extension has one window range that matches the height of the original structure. The south end wall is made of brick.
