Description
Levant Lodge is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof and two brick stacks. The main block is two storeys high with a five-window front of glazing bar sashes, each with a gauged brick flat head. A round-arched doorway is centrally positioned, featuring a six-panel door and an intersecting tracery fanlight. The door is framed by an open pedimented wooden surround supported on console brackets, with a moulded architrave and panelled reveals. A 19th-century brick gabled porch with stone coping has been added. Lower, two-storey brick extensions flank the original house, set back and incorporating a 19th-century conservatory in the angle between the south wing and the south wall of the original building.
