Description

No. 38 on Old Street in Upton-upon-Severn is a late 18th century to early 19th century painted brick house that has been refronted from an earlier building. It is two stories high with an attic and features a plain tile roof with one dormer. The front has three windows, each with gauged brick segment arched heads. The outer first-floor windows have 19th century exposed box sliding sashes, while the center window is blocked. There is an earlier 19th century shopfront that includes an 8-paned shop window supported by scrolled brackets beneath a cornice. The rear of the building has a gabled brick design.
