Description

This is a mid-18th century brick house, built upon an earlier structure. It is two storeys and has an attic. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features a gabled dormer. The house has a brick dentil cornice. It originally had three windows on the first floor, with the central window now blank. The windows are exposed box sliding sashes. The window surrounds are flat-headed, constructed of gauged brick and incorporate keystones supporting cornices. The ground floor has two openings on the left, which lead to a through passage and a panelled door. To the right is an early 19th century projecting bow window with canted sides and glazing bars, topped with a hood supported by brackets. The group value relates to its contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
