Description

The Lodge is a former lodge to Severn Bank, built around 1840. It is constructed from coursed blue lias rubble with limestone ashlar dressings. The building has a square plan and is designed in the Tudor style, featuring a hipped slate roof and a central brick stack with paired octagonal shafts. The lodge is topped with a battlemented parapet and has octagonal angle turrets. It is a single storey with a two-window range, showcasing cross-windows that have hood moulds. The north side features a central Tudor-arched porch, which is also adorned with battlements.
