Description
Broadacre, Severn Hill and Bankside is a former rectory that has been converted into three houses. It dates from around 1800 and is built of red brick with hipped slate roofs. The building is arranged in an L shape, with a 19th-century addition on the east side known as Bankside. It is two stories tall and features a five-window west front, which includes a large brick stack at the north end. The windows are glazing bar sash types with gauged brick heads. The central entrance has a painted stone doorcase with an open pediment and console brackets, leading to an arched doorway with a flush panelled door and a radiating bar fanlight. The south front has a prominent full-height half hexagon bay with a hipped slate roof, flanked by one window range on each side, featuring similar windows to those on the west front. The 19th-century rear range has three windows and a large central square bay.
