Description

The K6 telephone kiosk in High Green, Croome d'Abitot, dates from around 1935 and was designed by Sir Gilbert Scott. This kiosk is made of cast iron and features margin glazing on three sides, along with a domed roof that has unpierced crowns. Frosted glass signs on the kiosk read "TELEPHONE." The original glazing has been replaced with perspex, the telephone inside has been renewed, and the rear panel has been repaired. There are no visible casting marks on the structure.
