Description

The Punchbowl Gates at Croome Park are a pair of stone arched gatepiers that flank the west drive to Croome Court, dating from around 1794 and likely designed by James Wyatt. The gatepiers are made of ashlar and are connected by a shallow arch that features a moulded cornice and relief-carved festoons. At the center of the arch sits a Coade stone bowl, which is stamped with "Coade 1794."
