Description
Loxton is a house built in the mid-18th century and restored in the late 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped plain tiled roof with a large ridge stack. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys and a cellar, topped with a dentilled eaves cornice.
The east front elevation has three bays, with all windows featuring cambered heads. On the ground floor, there are two cross-casement windows, while the first floor has three 2-light casements. The central entrance is framed by a late 20th-century gabled brick porch, which shelters a 6-panelled door that also has a cambered head, along with rectangular lights on the side elevations. To the left, there is a cellar door with a cambered head.
At the rear, there is a three-bay wing to the left and a late 20th-century addition to the right, creating a square plan. The interior has not been inspected.
