Description
The Old Rectory is a late 17th-century brick house with a tile roof. It is two storeys high, with a storey band. The building has two bays on each side of a two-storey gabled porch. The windows are 20th-century casements. The porch is open on the ground floor. The outer doorway has plain brick reveals and a Tudor-arched stone lintel. The side walls feature openings with turned timber balusters. The inner door is 17th century, with moulded panels, the lower panels having an applied lozenge shape. A chimney is located on the right-hand gable. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the wider streetscape.
