Description
Stonecroft is a house dating from around 1600, with alterations and additions made in the late 19th or 20th century. It features a timber frame with roughcast brick infill and a roughcast wing. The building is one storey high with an attic and has a two-window range, along with a two-storey, three-window range at an angle to the right. The windows are casements, and there are gabled dormers on the first floor. The return side displays exposed timber framing on the first floor, while the rear also shows exposed timber framing. The later wing includes an entrance on the left and a rear projecting stack with a tiled offset. Inside, the house has timber-framed cross walls, stop-chamfered beams, and the room to the left features dado panelling and a simple contemporary stair. There is also an exposed wattle and daub panel on the first floor.
