Description

Birmingham Canal Lock No 12 is a canal lock built around 1770 by engineers Brindley, Whitworth, and Simcock. It is constructed of brick with some stone coping and features double lower gates and a single upper gate. This lock is part of a flight of 21 locks on the Birmingham Canal at the Wolverhampton level.
