Description
No. 133 Lichfield Street is a building that originally served as a house but is now used for shops and offices. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of stucco. The building has three storeys and features five bays, with the three central bays projecting forward. The facade is symmetrical and includes a dentilled cornice and a blocking course with acroteria above the central bays. The ground floor has been altered. The outer bays exhibit chamfered rustication and are flanked by paired Corinthian pilasters. The windows are framed with architraves, and those on the first floor have floating cornices, except for the central window, which has a cornice supported by console brackets. Additionally, there is a sill band across the three central bays on the first floor. The windows are sashed with glazing bars, although some of the glazing bars have been removed from the lower sashes.
