Description
The garden steps and sphinxes at Knowle Hall were built around 1860. They consist of stone steps that lead down from the central garden front doorway of the hall, flanked by a pair of sphinxes. These features are part of the formal garden layout. Knowle Hall, along with the garden steps and sphinxes, forms a cohesive group.
