Description

The steps and garden walls at Kelling Hall are formal garden features designed in 1913 by E.B. Maufe. They consist of steps and enclosing walls that create terraces in the gardens to the north and east of Kelling Hall. The walls are made of brick and topped with stone caps, while the semi-circular stone flights of steps have whole flints used for the risers and are enclosed by splay walls. These features are included for their group value with the main hall.
