Description

Nos 270 to 272 on Castle Street are late 18th-century buildings constructed of red brick. They rise three storeys and feature five sash windows across the front, each with plain keyblocks and lintels. The buildings have one original moulded wood doorcase supported by fluted Tuscan columns and topped with an open pediment. On the ground storey, there are two later three-light canted bay windows. The structure has moulded stone eaves and modern tiles on the roof.
