Description
Nos 46 and 48 on High Street in Eccleshall are late 18th-century buildings made of red brick with a stone plinth. They stand three storeys tall and feature a large range in three bays, with a passageway in the centre. The facade includes eight sash windows with single glazing bars and a 19th-century canted bay window on the left side, which is tiered over two storeys. The right section has a moulded stone or stucco cornice and a 19th-century hooded doorcase, with the hood supported on slender shafts. The left bay features a moulded wood pilaster doorcase with a modillioned hood, a rectangular fanlight, and a modern door. The buildings have moulded stone eaves and a central moulded stone pediment with a blocked circular light, topped with tiles.
