Description

16A and 17 Spon Street is an early 19th-century building fronting an earlier structure. It features a modern shop front with a cornice band. The first floor is finished in stucco and has four tall casement windows, each topped with small cornices on console brackets. The roof is machine tiled and has a modillioned cornice. The gabled side elevations reveal a timber frame with red brick nogging. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along Spon Street.
