Description

16 Spon Street is a former building known as Nos 142 and 143 Spon Street, relocated to its current site in March 1975. It dates from the late 16th century or early 17th century and features a timber frame set on a stone and brick base. The building has a tiled roof and consists of two storeys. The shop window includes posts of timber framework that form mullions, with plaster infilling. At the back, there is a wing from the 17th century that is partly timber framed and partly reuses original bricks.
