Description
16A Union Mill Street is an office building dating from around 1810. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building has a right-angle plan and is two storeys high, with a three-window range and a single-window left return facing the street. Notable architectural details include brick pilasters, a platt band, a top frieze, and boxed eaves. The windows have plain surrounds and cornices above 12-pane sash windows. The central entrance features a plain surround with pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice, leading to a half-glazed door. The interior includes a plain staircase and window shutters.
