Description

Nos 5 and 6 The Quadrant is a mid-19th century building located on Warwick Road. It is constructed of stucco and features a Welsh slated roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has a second-floor entablature with a modillion cornice. It includes sash windows and two ground-floor canted bay windows, which have cast iron railings for the first-floor balconies. The door surrounds are pedimented. Each upper floor has four windows, with the first-floor windows having architrave surrounds under entablatures, while the second-floor features tall windows that cut into the cornice. This building is included for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Nos 1 to 10 (consecutive).
