Description

This is a 17th-century dovecote located at Allesley Hall. It has a circular plan and stands on a stone plinth. The walls are built of red brick, with some grey bricks also incorporated, topped by a conical roof covered in old tiles. A corbelled cornice runs along the eaves of the roof, and there is a conical lantern at the peak. The dovecote forms part of a group with Allesley Hall Stables and associated cottages.
