Description

Wigan House is a mid-18th century building located on Birmingham Road in Allesley. It is constructed of red brick and features a machine-tiled roof with a dentilled brick cornice. The house has two storeys and attics, with four later flush casement windows that have glazing bars, all set under flat arches. There is a blocked central window and a restored gabled dormer. The entrance is a recessed door with a rectangular fanlight and a bracketed hood. At the rear, there are three gables. Wigan House is part of a group that includes Nos 67 to 73 (odd).
