Description

These are a row of six houses, numbered 25 to 29, located along Allesley Old Road. They were built in the earlier 19th century, likely around 1846, and are probably the residences of master watchmakers linked to the nearby Chapelfields housing estate. The houses are constructed from red brick with Welsh slate roofs. They are two storeys high, featuring sash windows with stucco lintels above. The door surrounds have cornices supported on consoles. The houses are included on the heritage list for their group value with the adjacent properties. Nos 23 to 29 form a group.
