Description

The Old School at the rear of Numbers 151 and 153 on Church Road is a former school building that appears to date from the 18th century, although it features an inscription stating it was a gift from Edward, Earl of Digby, in 1852. The building is constructed of red brick with blue brick edging around the pointed windows and has a tiled roof. It is a single-storey structure with five bays arranged in a 3:2 rhythm. The windows are casements with iron Y-tracery in their upper parts. The right-hand side has a bargeboard and includes a modern extension.
