Description
This is a row of twelve houses, numbered 19 to 41, on George Street West in Hockley, dating from the 1830s and 1840s. The houses are arranged in two terraces, with three bays representing two houses each. They are built of stucco and have plinths and first-floor sill bands. The roofs are low slate, with corniced chimneys. The windows are plain sashes with glazing bars. The entrances have revealed, simplified pilaster frames, reeded archivolts, and radial glazed fanlights. The doors are panelled.
