Description

13A Regent Place is a building with origins dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is believed to be a rear wing or stabling associated with the now-demolished Harpers Hill house, where James Watt resided from 1777 to 1790. This two-storey red brick structure has been adapted for use as a shop. The ground floor features casement lights set beneath segmental arches, while the first floor includes multi-light workshop windows situated under the eaves. The premises currently house the works of C Harris, the last sand caster in the jewellery quarter.
