Description
Nos 22, 24, and 26 Regent Place are a row of three-storey houses built around 1820-1825, featuring a stucco façade and a single bay design. The eastern two houses are designed as a pair. They have a plinth and shallow flat eaves supported by paired brackets, topped with a slate roof. The upper floors have revealed sash windows with intact glazing bars on the single unit, and partially on the pair. The doorways of the pair are identical and coupled at the centre, featuring round-headed arches with panelled reveals, six-panel doors, and fanlights with a pointed arch glazing pattern. These doorways are deep set and flanked by square pilasters, which have deep entablatures, projecting cornices, and blocking courses. This row represents an early domestic survival in the jewellery quarter.
