Description
Yardley Cemetery and Crematorium Lodge, built around 1880, is a two-storey structure designed in a Gothic style, featuring polychromatic brick with stone dressings and a tiled roof. The lodge has three bays. On the ground floor, there is a canted bay window on the left that rises through two storeys and has a slated pyramidal roof. To the right, there are two trefoil-headed sash windows, with a porch extending from their front that leads to the central door. On the first floor, the right side has three small lancet windows on the left and a rose window beneath a gable on the right. To the left of the lodge, there is a long single-storeyed wing that is asymmetrically arranged, featuring a canted bay window, a small gabled bay, and a larger gabled bay with a door.
