Description
Southleigh Park Lodge is a mid-19th century building designed in the Gothic style. It features a combination of flint and brick construction with a hipped slate roof. The lodge is octagonal in shape, with a narrow rectangular wing extending to the south, and it stands two storeys tall. The flint walls are accented with yellow brick flush dressings, including a crenellated parapet and a prominent stack located at the angle between the two sections. The wing has rectangular openings, while the octagonal part has small pointed windows that alternate between the two floors. There is a weathered band at the first floor level and quoins at the corners. The octagon is adorned with cast iron diamond windows, while the wing features sash windows. The entrance porch has a stepped gable, a pointed arch, and side windows.
