Description
Nos. 110, 112, and 114 on Moseley Road are a pair of two-storey red brick houses built around 1820. No. 110 has three bays, while No. 114, which was constructed shortly after, has two bays. Both houses feature a stucco moulded cornice and a low parapet. No. 114 includes a set-back attic storey that is slate hung. They have red brick chimney stacks topped with square tapered pots. The windows are revealed sash style with broad marginal glazing, stucco sills, and panelled stucco heads adorned with oval rosettes and flanked by plain consoles on acanthus stops leading to thin moulded cornices. There are late 19th-century pent roof canted bay windows to the right of the doorways. The doorcases of both houses are identical, featuring engaged slender Doric columns, sections of entablature with oval rosettes, and open moulded pediments. Each house has six-panel doors with radial glazed fanlights set in panelled reveals.
