Description

The Bishop Gore Statue is located in St Philip's Churchyard in the City Centre. It commemorates the Right Reverend Charles Gore, who was the first Bishop of Birmingham from 1905 to 1911. The statue is made of bronze and stands on a Portland stone plinth, which features his episcopal arms. It was created by Stirling Lee in 1914.
