Description

The roving bridge at the north-east end of Aston No 1 Lock on the Birmingham/Fazeley Canal was built in the mid-1780s and is constructed of brick. It features a basket handle arch with gauged brick voussoirs and has ashlar saddleback coping. The bridge is supported by swept brick abutments.
