Description

Jasmine Cottage is a small, circa early 17th century timber-framed cottage with painted brick infill panels. It is located on the north side of Church Street in Barford. The cottage has a steeply pitched thatched roof and one storey with an attic, featuring a thatched gabled dormer with a pair of casement windows. The ground floor has been extended forward by approximately two feet to the south to accommodate a garage, which has a pair of wooden plank doors. A central plank entrance door and a pair of casement windows with leaded panes are also present. This demonstrates group value through its well-preserved historic character.
