Description

The gate pier and retaining wall, located approximately 110 metres east-south-east of Wroxall Abbey Hotel, date from the 18th century. The gate pier is made of stone ashlar and features a rusticated design with a cornice at the top and a fluted vase finial. It is one of a pair of gate piers. The structure is complemented by a brick retaining wall.
