Description

Moat Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage that was faced with red brick in the 18th century. It has a plain tile roof with gabled ends and a brick dentil eaves cornice. The house is one storey high with an attic, and originally had two windows. It now features 18th and 19th-century three-light casement windows in segmental-headed openings. There are two gabled dormers. A plank door is situated on the right-hand side. Interior features include stopped chamfer ceiling beams and a fireplace bressumer. At the rear, there are two gabled wings.
