Description

Three cottages and a cartshed, located approximately 7 metres northwest of Whitley Elm. The building is largely 18th century, with later 20th-century alterations. The cottages are constructed with a coursed stone plinth and red brick, with an old plain-tile roof. They are two storeys high and three bays wide, each bay containing a 20th-century door and casement windows. The interiors are reported to feature tie beam trusses with angle struts, though they have not been inspected. Adjacent to the cottages is an 18th-century cartshed. This single-storey, two-bay structure has a red brick facade with a plain-tile roof and an open front supported by circular brick piers. The listing includes the cartshed for its group value.
