Description
This is a range of four cottages, likely converted from several larger units, dating from the late 16th century. The cottages have a timber frame with square panels and are finished with white-painted brick nogging. They feature a steeply pitched plain tile roof that is hipped at the west end. There are three 19th-century brick ridge stacks, with one projecting from the rebuilt brick east gable wall. The cottages are one and a half storeys high and display four curved timber braces in the upper floor panels at the front. There are three doorways on the front and one in the east gable wall, with three of the doorways featuring 20th-century glazed porches. The right-hand entry doorway on the front has a gabled canopy above it. The ground floor mostly has 20th-century casements, and there are four 20th-century casement dormers.
