Description
This is a house located at 55 Russell Terrace in Royal Leamington Spa, built in the early to mid-19th century with later additions and alterations. The structure is made of pinkish-brown brick arranged in English Garden Wall bond, featuring a painted stucco front facade and a Welsh slate roof.
The house has two storeys and three first-floor windows. The first floor includes 6/6 sash windows set in plain reveals, with moulded surrounds and sills, topped by a frieze. On the ground floor, there is a central entrance with a three-panel door and fanlight, situated within a projecting porch that has pilasters, a round arch, a cornice, and a blocking course. The canted bays feature 2/2 sash windows flanked by 1/1 sash windows, with sills, reeded colonnettes, and an entablature. The building has wide eaves, a hipped roof, and tall end stacks with cornices. The interior has not been inspected.
