Description

This is a range of attractive cottages, numbered 84 to 90, Bridge End. They were built in 1781. The cottages are primarily colourwashed brickwork, with the right-hand side and one gabled end constructed of timber framing. They have simple casement windows with lattice glazing and cambered arches, featuring rectangular leaded lights, some of which are original. There are six gabled dormers with lattice casements in the roof, which is covered with old tiles. The front doors are plain and boarded, with the exception of number 84, which has six panels, and number 90, which has four. Numbers 78 to 90 form a group.
